The Turf

Went to The Turf as recommended by our son. Sunday lunch was the best we've ever eaten out. Veg cooked beautifully, not hard and crunchy, piping got and tasty. A proper home cooked meal. Fantastic value for money and already booked for a return trip. If you are thinking of going make sure you book a table in advance or you won't get in. Definitely recommend you try it

Played at the Turf last night and felt very safe! was well looked after and the whole pub had a lovely friendly vibe & atmosphere. Plenty of parking, toilets clean, great size bar and i hear the food is incredible 👌 will be returning to try their sunday lunch and cant wait to return to sing! Thank you for having me 🧡 Kerry x

Visited for the first time, most of the draft beers were off as they were having some technical issues in the basement / cellar, but despite this, the staff were very helpful and professional and the landlady was awesome. They were dealing with customers promptly whilst trying to sort issues out, service was great, staff had awesome humour and we also ordered food. The food was amazing, came out hot and steaming, tasted great and of good portion. Well worth visiting and getting a meal there and drinks. Credit to the staff.
