Apley Arms

As always, I loved all the variety available on the carvery and the meat servings I felt were pretty generous. My only criticism of the food is that I couldn't get a smaller Yorkshire pudding so only ate half of the magnificent one I had. Another small point, there was a shortage of salt and pepper shakers so we had to do a bit of a hunt for them, but no biggy.

We went Today for my birthday meal The food was very tasty and We all enjoyed our meal The table was difficult to get my electric wheelchair up to close as the tables had middle parts of wood or metal If we went again in future I will ask for a round table That was my only concern I was given a small container from a staff member To take Home my little chi a chunk of turkey Which was nice 😀

We were asked if we had booked witch we didnt!! To then be told that there was no tables available? I did say well i could of booked on groupon,but we never as the food is very filling Nd might not feel like a pudding, to witch the lady replied it wouldn't have allowed you to book as we have no tables, so i then left the pub to click on to my toby app to witch i then booked a table for 3.50,pm ,i then entered the pub for her to come back to her stand I then said hi ive booked a table for her to then stomp off to the kitchen, to witch a lovely lady to come out smiling and say whats the name, i gave her my name for her to say lovely let me show you to you table, we then was asked what would we like to drink, i said a pint and half of lime and lemon please, we went on to have a lovely dinner and drinks i then went to pay to give her the code of my phone for the £5 offer, to be the charged £6.75 for this pint and a half lime and lemon witch is an absolutely ridiculous price as ive always had a refillable one for £3 odd we will not be returning to your pub again, thanks

The service was second to none, they asked even before we ordered if they needed to be aware of any dietary requirements: the food unfortunately wasn't quite up to the standard of other Toby Carveries I have been to. The Carvery pork was dry. I paid an extra £1.99 for the bigger meal and the sausages that came with it were cooked to a point of refusal to have them upon my plate. They looked like they had been cooked for too long, left out for too long, then reheated - also for too long and left out too long again. Apart from the issues, the meal was tasty and hot, the service was absolutely excellent, and we left satisfied. The young one had a chicken burger with peas, she was directed to the carvery for potatoes to have with her meal. I thought that was very kind. She said it was a very nice meal. :-)

Carvery was very good. Very tasty. Not a massive selection of vegetables, but tbf enough. Did have a half hour wait for kids chicken burger, kept asking, didn't come with fries, which is difficult when your child doesnt eat roast dinners. But , it was a tasty meal, and impressed you can go back for extra potatoes and vegetables if you desired. Good gravy. Good puddings. Would visit again

Food great service not so great booked previous day booked into the restaurant part of the pub got there for my booking no table available then placed in the pub section of the pub after 20 mins a table was made up in the pub section of the pub even though booked into the restaurant part and it was a Thursday not weekend as the response given . The table was uncomfortably close to other people and close to the door. When I had booked in the restaurant but what annoyed me the most was a family of 5 walked in no booking and got placed in the restaurant part and the staff seem to bend over backwards for them but didn’t really care if I want another drinks or dessert and waited ages for the bill food good service rubbish
