Came for bottomless brunch for the first time and we’re not from round here. Was very busy so the initial service was understandably slow but the staff definitely made up for it later on. They were attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. The breakfast was amazing and the cakes are next level, would definitely recommend :)

What a wonderful little place! I surprised my wife and 9mth old baby for my wife’s birthday for brunch this morning, all I can say is wow. All of the staff were so friendly, and the brunch was amazing! They had a high chair for the baby which was great, and the atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. Service was great, food was great, drinks were great, no complaints at all from us. And an amazing extra that we weren’t expecting, My wife got a free slice of cake for her birthday, so lovely. We went for the special, a Biscoff brownie. Oh my god… sublime! Can’t wait to come back again soon ☺️

Visited Black Goo for the first time this morning with our Spaniel. Only had coffee, but service and staff outstanding, and even brought over a bowl of water for our dog, without asking for one. Will definitely be going back again.

Absolutely amazing place and brilliant service. I think this must be one of the most dog friendly places we have been to. As soon as we were seated, we asked if we wanted a dog bed and water for the dog. Makes you feel valved want to go back, need to book as it gets really busy from opening time.

Popped in without booking a table and luckily got one! Friendly staff, as always, quick service and delicious brunch. I enjoyed the Half Goo (English breakfast) and a pot of tea. Just perfect 😋

The most beautiful cake at very short notice for an 80th birthday, could not be more helpful and the recipient was very very pleased, delicious elder-flower and rhubarb sponge, multi-layer with amazing icing and glitter blackberries. Thank you very much !!!!!

What a great find, fabulous for breakfast, dinner and so much more! With some great vegan and veterinarian options, not withstanding the most wonderful range of cake... Hard to find a reason not to visit, and very much on the food map of Thame, I cant wait to pop back.... And I did today, 28th April 2023 ... Still amazing...

I've been to Black Goo a few times now and I've always thoroughly enjoyed the food and my time there. The staff are very friendly, caring and attentive. They are careful to check for allergies and intolerances. Today they went the extra mile when we ordered cake to check if it was for a gluten free family member. We had half goo cooked breakfasts which were delicious. My latte and tea was lovely too... we loved the sweet little house tea pot! The selection of cakes is great and they quite magnificent! They offer a great variety and they are absolutely huge - great to share or take home in a box for later or to share with the family! I would highly recommend this lovely cafe - but, a bit of advice, if you're planning on having cake, do allow enough time to browse the selection as it could take a while to decide!

Very cool, dog-friendly restaurant. The service was excellent. We waited a bit for food (eggs Benedict and the veggie goo breakfast) but when it came it was really good. The veggie breakfast could have taken some more seasoning (particularly the tomato and avocado) but overall it was a great experience. Bonus points for being so helpful with our doggo and bringing him water and a bed!
