The Mullberry has been the best dinning experience I've had in England. The service, the food, the atmosphere was all brilliant. It is on the pricey side but totally worth it for my special occasions!
I cannot fault it. A lovely welcome, nice atmosphere and the food was divine! I had to pace myself so that I didnt eat it too quickly! Loved the cod cheeks as a starter, the lamb was beautifully cooked, and the torte was so nice, but the cinnamon ice cream gave it such another level of taste (surprised me so much as I am not someone who likes cinnamon, but I went for it today because if how nice the first two courses were I trusted the kitchen).
I tried the parfait my wife had too, it was so light in texture.
Simply put, i cannot wait to go back. Food, service was great and the price for such good food was spot on too.

What can i say but WOW, when we arrived they didn’t have a booking for as our friend who booked it had book a different restaurant, Karen ( lovely lady and very helpful) said she was fully booked and suggested we try one of the pubs, but if they were full let her know a d she would see what she could do.
So we went off to said pub when we arrived they weren’t serving food , so i rang Karen and she offered us a table a bit later , thank god she did,
The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect. In all what started as a potential disaster turned out yo be one of the best meals we have had in a long time.
As we were leaving Karen gave us all a hug.

First time at the mulberry, the service was top notch, the food was excellent, a ballet on the tastebuds, the atmosphere was lovely, plenty of other guests but were unobtrusive, some places you can here ever clink of cutlery on crockery, not here, background music just at the right level so you didnt have to talk loudly, overall it was a great evening out, oh, the wine was good too, the red at room temperature and the while, chilled and crisp. Will be going again.
I write this after my second visit to the Mulberry, and it was absolutely fantastic both times, the food is really good, but the front of house makes it a real experience. Karen and her team care, and look after you in such a brilliant manner.
I can not wait for an excuse to visit again.
Having been to many Michelin star restaurants, the friendly service here makes me '5 star' the experience and wonder if Michelin, should consider how they score a restaurant.

Absolutely delicious, outstanding i was just fascinated. This is hands down some of the best food I've ever had in a restaurant. The young pork chop was out of this world, the cheese melted on top with the perfectly cooked veg, just left me wanting more. I would go back just to experience the food again. Cant wait to return.
An excellent top flight restaurant that we’re lucky to have in Thetford. We’ve spent many good times there. Food great and the staff warm and welcoming. Ideal for our special occasions.
Best meal I've had in a very long time. Lovely setting and really friendly staff. The food was incredible and very good value. Cannot recommend enough.

Food is absolutely spectacular, The Mulberry more than deserve Michelin status. So fresh and expertly flavoured. The fish is stunning!
Last night was a French theme night, we had great fun decorating the table cloth - things like that really make this place special and stand out, and very much make me want to return and recommend to others.
Overall, A* restaurant - this is so special and like no other, a real gem and somewhere I have very happy memories of.
(Parking is free and easy, just a short walk too!)

Tried to book a table but they were fully booked for the night we wanted. Kindly placed on the waiting list in case of a cancellation. Thankfully someone did cancel and we booked our table.
From the moment we arrived we felt completely looked after. Beautifully laid out restaurant. Very friendly chatty waitresses greeted us with smiles and explained the superb menu. Given time to choose. Never felt rushed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and engaging. A large family party was in the conservatory and the waitresses did well to cater for that and us in the dining room.
Food choices were lovely making it difficult to choose!
Ingredients were very flavoursome and cooked to perfection.
A beautiful little restaurant which seems slightly out of place within the area but wow, what a delight!
So thankful to have reserved a table and experienced such lovely food and service!
We were in the area for only a few days but if we ever pass this way again we will definitely revisit.
