Such a lovely pub! The lady behind the bar, Laura, was so lovely and friendly that we changed our plans from just popping in for a drink to staying for some food! Food was delicious and served in good time too! We'll definitely be coming back!
A friendly and welcoming new team have just taken over this very large and historic pub. I didn't eat on this occasion but I'm looking forward to trying the new carvery the next time I visit (and the homemade chips!). The coffee was good and served with a smile :)
