Taste

Great find for our lunch. Between us we had eggs, a club sandwich and fish and chips, all of which were excellent quality and reasonably priced. Service did take a little while such that I began to feel nervous about my prepaid parking expiring but when we queried the time and explained the situation we were immediately offered a place to park outside. The table service generally was very good and certainly made up for the wait, which otherwise would have justified a 5th 🌟. Would certainly go back.

Totally glad I stumbled across this place!! I've only been twice so far (but that's within the last month) and think there will be many more visits in the future for sure!! Now to the review!! I've had a big breakfast both times and what can I say!! Proper lean thick bacon, beautiful tasty sausages, quality black pudding, not the cheap stuff but really tasty, nice thick cut toast and fried bread, lovely fresh mushrooms, hash browns, poached eggs, beans, tomatoes all so tasty and amazingly presented, and proper HP sauce to boot. Also I'm not a big coffee drinker, I do prefer tea, but I had an americano coffee too the last time and was the nicest coffee I've ever had!! Even though I've only tried their big breakfast, seeing other peoples grub as it travels past my gonk before mine arrives, all presented lovely and you can see the love and dedication that the staff do put in. The place is super clean, the staff are spot on, and the food is brilliant. I haven't tried any desserts yet, but again the ones I've seen are all proper home made treats of delight!!! 10/10 THEY SHOULD DO A CHAIN!!!!!

I really can't fault Taste at all! My daughter has been there a couple of times but I myself have only been there once and I really enjoyed it. We were there for a Christmas day booking and can honestly say it was really good. The team are so friendly and welcoming they just make you feel right at home. The meal was was amazing in both taste, portion size and presentation, it was lovely. Myself and my family were very Impressed, I highly recommend Taste Cafe Bar Bistro, and will definitely be going again.
