Fish cooked freshly was nice. Battered sausages had been in hot cabinet for a while. Chips although cooked freshly were soggy.

Absolutely beautiful food, the owners and staff are so friendly. We don't go to any other chippy. Tickhill Chippy is the best.

Beautiful chips and large fish with mushy peas. Yes there are cheaper 'special' options. Very nice chippy. Staff seem nice enough. I would highly recommend this chip shop. By the way, they look to do a bit of everything, such as Kebabs etc, so great place to go if you're coming out of the pub at night and need a quick bite to eat.

Just a quick visit, very pleasant staff, with a warm welcome. Didn't realise how late it was... Chippy closes at 21:00...still had a good choice.. Food was fresh and tasty. Know we will return Thank you

I had ridden about 75 miles out of a hundred mile round robin circuit from Chesterfield down to Newark then Gainsborough and basically had begun to run out of steam. Seeing the chippy to the side of the road was a godsend and that bag of chips was just enough to top me up for the last quarter of the journey. I will do the route again and I will stop by here again too. The people working there were very warm and friendly. Service with a smile. :)
