After years of saying I was going to try it we finally got round to having a takeaway. The good was delicious and my daughter and I enjoyed all the dishes we bought plus really appreciated the free onion bhaji, poppadoms and pickles. We definitely will be ordering from here again. Fantastic

The Himalayan Hot Spot on School Road in Tilehurst is a friendly and cosy Indian food restaurant. The staff are welcoming courteous and very friendly. There is a wide range of dishes to choose from on the menu and portion sizes are generous. Prices are good. The food is very good. I recommend the special jalfrezi and it is spicy hot. It is a fairly small establishment but you should be able to get a table though best to book. You can start with a couple drinks in the pub opposite then head over for some good quality food. The food normally arrives pretty quickly. Been here quite a few times and will be going back. A popular place and deservedly so. Recommended.
