Quiet lunchtime made the atmosphere a bit limp. Festive menu today with reasonably good choice, food was nice but not brilliant. Veg was a bit school dinner style, a bit overcooked.
Service was good and staff were nice.
This Pub is excellent! The menu was varied yet traditional, delicious home cooked meals, incredibly well priced by the way… the Hostess was very warm, friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was very cozy, and immaculately clean!! Highly recommended!

Went for dinner, drinks and music bingo. Had a great time the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was okay, could be improved. Overall very happy and would visit again for a drink and another event.
First visit, nice relaxed atmosphere thanks to friendly staff and cosy but spacious place. Tasty food, good portions, good prices, Nice and warm. Enough space for family groups and quiet corners.Will be returning.
Asked for an oap roast dinner but it was pork or gammon neither of which I eat, I offered to have extra veg instead but the lady insisted on asking the chef if he had turkey left which he did and it was delicious. Such good service will definitely return.
