Once again a wonderful evening with great food & wine. 3rd year of visiting from Bristol & each year Werner has surpassed the previous years food. Words can't describe how good his food is, also love the yodelling & schnapps! We recommend this restaurant to anybody wanting to eat fine food & drink in an intimate setting.
A return visit to this wonderful gem of a restaurant. Attentive staff and the schnapps is a must. I had lobster Thermidor wow oh and the scallops wrapped in pancetta are also a must. Thank you for not disappointing 12 months later x
A very highly rated place and for good reason judging by our visit. We were fortunate to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here. If it hadn't had fell on a midweek day then I feel we wouldn't have got in.
It's an unpretentious dining room and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
The menu is a bit limited and any fussy eater like me may want to phone ahead to check what's on offer.
We had fillet steaks and they were excellent, together with a nice selection of vegetables. Note these are included in the price and they can do a bit of "mix and match" across the menu. The desserts were simply sublime.
Despite its popularity and reputation we thought the prices are very competitive even compared to lesser establishments.
It's a small bar but we were happy.
The service from our friendly and attentive waitress was exemplary.
Seriously, the food here is amazing. Probably one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant for a while - if you're lucky enough to be close enough book a table. The apricot dumpling was also the biggest surprise of the night. Thank you Chef!
The staff were so friendly, perfect timing between courses. Lovely wine and tremendous food. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend this place.
Me and my husband Went here for our 1st wedding anniversary tonight, glad we did the food was outstanding and very tasty the chef did amazing job…. both the chef and waitress worked very hard and kept checking if everything was ok with our meals the place is lovely clean and friendly there too I will definitely be going back there 100% I highly recommended it to anyone looking for good food 😍 even the chef makes the effort to come out and see everyone
Lovely place, amazing staff, amazing food. Perhaps a little pricey but it’s worth it.
My only complaint is the bread they serve as appetisers - It’s delicious and there isn’t enough of it!

This is the kind of establishment where they do one sitting per table per night. 22 covers, so 22 meals served per night.
Many dishes are Austrian, then Austrian chef is also the owner and wonderfully charismatic. The food is not shy in flavours. Even the snapse at the end is home made.
We'll be returning.
A brilliant restaurant with fantastic menu. We had the Scallops, Lobster Ravioli for starters, Duck breast, Beef Fillet for mains, apricot dumpling and pancake filled cherries for desserts. The staff were very friendly and the owner made time to talk to every table. A great fine dining experience.
Lovely food, great staff and reasonably priced. Will be returning very soon.
