Salt & Pepper

saw the sign outside saying the steak was #1 in torquay so i had to try it. ordered the ribeye and i couldn’t fault it. it was cooked beautifully rare just like i asked, the meat was so soft and tasted beautiful. the staff and particularly the owner were so welcoming and accommodating, 100% recommend if you’re in the area 👍

Absolutely amazing restaurant! Lovely friendly staff can not fault them ... the two guys front of house fab 👍 our 2nd visit this week. The belly pork is the best we have ever had tastes amazing. Chicken lush and Burger with dirty fries with beef chilli OMG 😍😋 the last visit my daughter had the chocolate brownie! Wow!!!

Believe the hype - Best Restaurant in Town We were lucky to book a table for my birthday, I wanted to go to Salt & Pepper as I'd heard so much about their steaks and wanted not only a birthday treat but for my dad too who had a seizure last year and this was going to be his first time out for a meal since so wanted something special & we got this and more! The restaurant was buzzing with families and couples all laughing and having a good time. The music and decor were fresh and really cool. We warmly welcomed and sat on a big table by the bar, our daughter was treated with great care and respect just as we all were. We were given time to get comfortable, and have drinks before ordering. My dad I went for the T-Bone with Stilton sauce and my wife and mum had the Scallops. Our food came and wow! The steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavour and the girl's scallops were equally amazing - it was nice to see the size of their meals - not just a few scallops but a serious amount served on a bacon salad - the smiles on their faces said it all! Our daughter had a burger and it too looked mouth watering - really well presented with a special pot of peas done just for her as they're her favourite! I could not fault our meal especially when we finished off with Banoffee Pie! The restaurant is quite open, you can see the kitchen at the back with the bar area all open too - I enjoyed watching everything going on and you could see what a tight team they are - all helping each other, working really hard but with no sign of stress or pressure which is a real credit to the management. We enjoyed ourselves so much we made a point of thanking the chefs and everyone who looked after us and they genuinely looked buzzed that we had enjoyed their food and service so much. We came to Torquay for a little getaway and found this lovely restaurant online. They were welcoming, informative, and friendly when we arrived. The food was amazing, we had king prawns for starters , they were absolutely delicious and a good portion as well. For main, we had steaks, my partner had a Tbone steak, i had an 8oz rump steak, both were fresh, with great tasting sauces, the chips were lovely and crispy but not over done, neither soggy! We will definitely be coming back. Thank you

The restaurant is amazing, the service was top quality and the food was a next level. Me and my partner both had steak but different cuts and cooked differently. Bothe steaks were cooked exactly how we asked for it and it was beautifully seasoned. It was probably the best steak that I have had in a very long time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, thoroughly enjoyed my experience!!

Lovely little restaurant in Torquay. We were looking for somewhere to have a bit of a late lunch and Salt and Pepper was perfect. We were seated immediately without even booking. Couldn't fault customer service here I had the bbq Pork Belly and it was delicious. It literally melted in my mouth, chips were the right type of crunchy and hot and were lovely. My partner had their fish and chips and they loved it, the fish's batter was light and crispy and you could tell the fish was fresh For dessert i had the sticky toffee pudding and I wont lie it was the best I'd ever had no joke it was delicious My partner had the hot fudge cake and they were obsessed with it and kept wanting to slow themselves down as they were eating it to quickly and didnt want it to be over. Overall delicious food amd excellent customer service. Next time we're in Torquay this is a definite must visit
