I came down to play in their monthly poker tournament.
It was extremely well run. The level of poker was very good, but most importantly, the atmosphere was both friendly and welcoming from both staff and patrons. The cider wasn't too expensive either.

Went there with my wife tonight for a friend's wedding reception and it's one of those pubs that's quirky yet cosy and welcoming at the same time the staff are friendly and welcoming and the regulars don't look at you as if to say you don't belong there, will definitely visit again

Great place, you can get food from basket meals to good old fashion fish and chips.. Bar staff are great, entertainment most weekends and a sing along anytime.. Nice seating area outfront. Worth a visit

Very welcoming place good choice of drinks and decent food available at reasonable prices, would definitely recommend this club to anyone who was looking for a nice friendly environment with very good staff.

Only just discovered this place. Which has been there for many years. Even during this terrible lockdown period the friendly owners and costomers alike make any visit enjoyable, comfortable and safe. The no fuss Sunday roast we had was extremely good value and quality.
Will definitely be visiting again.
