Just a good old- fashioned chip shop with tasty fish and generous portions. Have been several times and it's always good.

Fantastic fish and chips cooked to order. A good-sized portion. Light crisp batter, with the fish just cooked through, remaining fleshy & juicy. Chips were nice and crispy with a fluffy centre.

My favourite chippy in Torquay. Everything I want. Beautifully flaky fish and batter is super crispy, and perfect "chippy" chips.

We have been coming to this fish&chip restaurant during our annual trips to Torquay for the past 5 years. It serves the most delicious cod and chips. Reasonably priced and great portion. Beautiful seaview - we sat outdoors.

Delight place near the water, great to take those fish n chips to the beach or eat outside their place. Fish not oily like most places with a light tasty batter, as are the chips. Highly recommend

We ate here, twice for lunch, on a recent weekend in Torquay.
Met by friendly staff and it was easy enough to order. We shared 2 chips and a chicken and mushroom pie for one lunch and 1 regular fish and chips for the 2nd lunch. We shared as staying in half board accommodation.
Chips tasted good, very fresh, crunchy outside and light fluffy on the inside. Best chips had in a long while. Chicken pie was good! Nicest pie, think it was a Pukka variety. Golden brown top, hot and lovey filling, and the pie pastry was warm, soft and so nice. The fish was well battered, fish was lovely and soft and melted in the mouth, really fresh and cooked well.
The only bad thing is that Fishonados is a 560 mile round trip, so unable to go that often!

Probably the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Crispy batter and not a sign of grease anywhere. Tip for new visitors, there is nothing mini about the mini cod. Great serving size.
