Dinner. A gem in Torquay. We've had our eye on this restaurant since they opened. Finally got the chance to try it, and so glad we did. The menu has a great mix of fish and meat dishes. For Starters, we chose *Crispy monkfsh bites / black garlic mayo £6.95 *Very moorish and could have eaten a bucket full. Salt & pepper squid/ ponzu dipping sauce £9. Mains Monkfish over coals / romesco sauce / almonds chimichurri/ fennel & orange salad £25. *As good as any fish restaurant. Dry-Aged Grass Fed Beef Sirloin £29.95 Served with OLLIE'S chips & pepper corn sauce. A side of Barbecue cabbage/ 'nduja butter £6. Desserts Churros with chocolate sauce Affogato with disaronno. The food and service were exceptional. This is a true all-rounder of a restaurant and very good at what they do.

Have just come back from lunch with my Mum and best friend at Ollie's. Its such a hot hot day didn't feel like going anywhere. So glad we did. I cannot fault Ollie's in anyway whatsoever. The food is superb, very delicious and very well presented. The front of house boys today were so accommodating and friendly (as all the staff always are) nothing was to much trouble they were happy to put us at a different table then the reserved one which was wonderful as it was so cool. Its such a refreshing change to eat out in Torquay where you are welcomed and made to feel important and treated top class. Would thoroughly recommend Ollie's for a really wonderful dining treat.

I don’t normally do reviews because I expect a level of service when I attend a restaurant, and when they deliver what I expect I’m grateful but satisfied. In this case I found Ollie’s to be exceptional! So I guess it’s worth writing about now… and worth sharing! I’m well travelled… lucky I guess… this beats all the stake places I’ve been in Vegas, and is the same quality as the Four Seasons in Whistler… and is better than Wine & Co in both Melbourne and Sydney… the stake was exactly as ordered… perfectly cut and hot when presented… chips were to die for and the peppercorn sauce was spot on… the hosts were delightful, the service was prompt and quicker than expected… what more could you want? Perfect…

We ate here for my husband's birthday. It was our first visit and came highly recommended. In short, we will be back! The food was simple but beautifully cooked. We shared a Tomahawk steak that came with the house chips, (delicious, cross bred chip / roast potatoes), and fresh buttered veg. We asked for medium rare and that is exactly what we got. The service was second to none and the staff couldn't have done more. We were served by Tess and a young chap, (sorry we didn't get your name), who were extremely knowledgeable and engaging and made our already special visit, even better. In a day and age where customer service is generally in decline, this place feels like the good old times and we cannot recommend it enough. Thank you all!

What a pleasant surprise. We opted for the Wednesday deal which sounded good value and certainly was. Perhaps not as 'buzzy' as you would expect but service and food were excellent with an additional highlight of Ollie's side of chips which are amazing. Shame we couldn't stay for the Thursday steak night too - sounds super value!

What a lovely experience! My hubby and I booked for the steak night but we ended up having 3 courses. Every course was just excellent and even though I'm a huge steak fan my favourite dish was the lobster bisque. Service was also outstanding (thank you Rosie and Callum) and a big shout-out to the kitchen staff and everyone else there that made this a perfect evening. We will be back!
