Wow wow.. we stumbled upon this diamond in the rough whilst on our way back from a hike up Pen y fam. We were starving with no reservation, walked in hoping they could serve us on a Saturday night. As i walked in, the first thing i noticed was the largest most awesome plate of dirty fries i have ever seen and instantly thought.. jesus.. what is this place?! The bar manager came over to us and realised we were weary travellers needing some good cold beer and lots of food.. after moving things around for a minute they managed to fit us in and I'm so thankful for that. The food was super delicious, home cooked and big portions. The atmosphere was so friendly, welcoming, and warm. The service was absolutely spot on, couldnt have asked for a better experience. I hope to be back one day for the live music and Kareoke night, by all accounts its not to be missed!

On a long drive home from Swansea and decided to take a short detour to visit this pub and wow! We were so happy to have found it thanks to the reviews. Sunday roast was just so tasty- meat was succulent, loads of veg and 3 different types of potatoes along with a Yorkshire pudding and stuffing with extra gravy! They go all out here. Hands down the best pub roast and the house wine was a perfect match for it too! Highly recommend to all travellers 🧳 friendliest staff too - thanks for a great visit!

We came to Wales on holiday and before we came, we looked up roast dinners near where we was staying and The Farmers Arms came up, although it was about a 20 minute drive from where we are staying, we thought we would try it and it didn't disappoint. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are really friendly and helpful too. My daughter enjoyed it that much she wanted to come again this evening and yet again the food was outstanding. The Steak and Ale pie was unbelieveable, the steak just melted and i asked for mash instead of chips and they couldn't have been more accomodating. My two kids both had the chicken goujons and chips and in my 8 year old daughters words it was amazing. My 3 year old also ate it all. I would highly recommend The Farmers Arms and when were back on holiday in Wales again we will definately be back. Excellent value for money. Thank you!
