Great place to eat and drink if you're visiting the museum or Tring Park, but also handy if you're cycling through the area and need to recharge your batteries.

Great cafe! The food was lovely, as was the coffee, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very cosy. My 3 and 6 year olds had a great time and enjoyed their children's platters. Lots of veggie and vegan options.

Nice full English, no tomatoes but that's okay by me as I don't like them. Well cooked quality products. Traditional tea room atmosphere. Probably best value breakfast in tring. Does lunch menu and afternoon teas.
Good service, good quality and good value. Only downside is it's 10 yards off the high street so visitors will have to look beyond the end of their noses. But it's well worth the effort.😁😁😁👍👍👍👍

Just visiting Tring and popped into the Cog for lunch. The food was very tastey and well presented. The staff were friendly. Overall a very good experience and l would reccomend to anyone.

Come one come all! Bring your bike, but leave it outside.. this is a really nice cafe, after a long cycle in the chilterns, this is an ideal place to make your halfway stop over for re charging weary legs, before you climb those hills to get out of tring again. (Must admit sometimes I have thought of phoning a cab😄)
The cog has an excellent choice of snacks and meals.. well worth a visit, the owner is very welcoming, provided your not too smelly.. enjoy the Cog it's a lovely place.. I do.

Lovely place. Friendly people. Delicious food (including a good range of vegie food) and plenty of it. Half portions for younger or less hungry people. Looks like there's an enthusiasm for cycling by the proprietor.
