I've eaten at literally 100s of Indian restaurants around the world. Was nicely surprised with this place. Menu is excellent and the quality of the food is top notch. The service was acceptable and courteous. Didn't book a table, as we were in the area after a 6 hour car journey. Did feel because we hadn't booked, we were pushed into a table next to the front of house. So I've deducted a star for this. Other than that, I'd recommend this restaurant. I would eat here again.

Pheriwala provided the food for my birthday party this weekend and it was excellent. So many of our guests commented on how amazing all of the dishes were. I'm sure there will be a lot of new customers as a result! Thanks for all the help organising in advance, and for delivering such a large quantity of food perfectly on time. Look forward to visiting the restaurant again soon!

A great newly refurbished Indian in Tring that has an eat-in restaurant and also does takeaway for the same menu. We ate in and had efficient service despite the restaurant being fully packed. All the staff are Indian, and some don't speak English who were bringing food to the tables, but those taking orders and talking to the customers were perfectly ok. The food was terrific, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The waters were able to explain the options so we got what we expected. The food and beer prices were reasonable so allow about £22 per head all in.
