Tonight there was a trainee on duty. Nice enough but took ages to wrap the large cod, butchered it by breaking in two, and taking so long it was cold by the time I got it home 5 minutes away. Usually though this place is a 5 out of 5 and I know everybody has to start somewhere so hopefully the trainee will get better quickly.

But real disappointed with the size of the fish !
£10 for what should be a large fish, sorry I won’t be returning!

This is by far the best Fish and Chips locally! I usually order the Haddock, top notch.
The owner is a very authentic individual.

Easily the best Fish and Chips shop in town. The shop is always spotless, the staff are polite and most importantly, the Fish and Chips are always amazing! Definitely recommend!

Excellent quality we stayed locally for a week. Ended up visiting twice. Fish and chips first. Followed by chicken and chips. Superb chips. Great portion size. Fish was excellent with crispy batter. Chicken was freshly cooked and lovely and tender. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
