A touch cramped as they only have about 15 or 16 settings. Otherwise everything is perfect whether ig be Sundsy lunch or a romantic meal. We also used them for outside catering which was utterly superb. There is simply nowhere better for quality dining in Trowbridge.

Could not fault, from the service, quality of local ingredients to exquisite food cooked to perfection. Look no further in Wiltshire for a comparable restaurant, simply superb.

Wow what can I say about this gem of restaurant, yet again we were served up a delightful 5 course tasting menu.
If you haven't already been you are truly missing out on by far the best restaurant in the area. Thanks Dean and the team for the great food and atmosphere can't wait to visit again soon.

Incredible! The food was outstanding, service excellent and a lovely little gem of a restaurant. I couldn't recommend more! Only a few tables inside the restaurant so cosy setting, with good music and just phenomenal recipes.

A bright star on the gastro plane of Trowbridge.
The menu is small but the food is as good as you'll find in any silver service fine dining restaurant. Amazing value for money for the quality. Wine selection was well matched to the food.
Some improvements to the decor and cutlery would really bring this up.

This was our first time at the Hidden Chief for our monthly date night & just wow. All of the food here is just amazing & so delicious. Honestly one of the best meals we have had for a long time & it's so good the see a restaurant delivering such high standards of food with locally sourced ingredients in Trowbridge. 10/10 to all the staff for a really enjoyable meal.

Food was really nice, fresh, good quality and very tasty. Small restaurant which doesn't quite match the quality of the food but it is all about the food and service which was the right balance of attentive but not intrusive and friendly. Can see chef working which is also a nice touch.
