Beautiful grand building with an inviting lounge/bar area. We ate from the lunch menu which was very tasty(we did notice there was a pretty french chef preparing our food!). The weather wasn't the best that day which was a shame as the outside garden area looks amazing. The staff were very attentive and the manager very accommodating. Will definitely return!

We went there for a mini school reunion. John and Karine are wonderful hosts. The ambience of the whole bar and restaurant area were impeccable. Very welcoming and comfortable. The choice of drinks were wonderful. The food was absolutely out of this world in our opinion. My other half is a vegan, and Karine arranged a meal for her. A chestnut and mushroom with onions etc in a filo pastry casing. It was absolutely stunning and massively tasty. I had the vegetarian option of a ratatouille for my main course, equally wonderful. Their chef and kitchen staff deserve a lot of credit! I can only but highly recommend this bar/restaurant for anyone who's within the vicinity of Truro. Very reasonable prices in my opinion for both drinks and food. What more can I say? Go try for yourselves, you won't be disappointed!

4 stars for quality of the food and attentive staff. Very limited lunchtime menu though and £6 for an ice cream with Malteser buttons well overpriced. Only choice of dessert was ice cream or ice cream! The wine is competitively priced and of good quality. The decor is very relaxing and nice background music. Would need to see a more extensive menu though to return

Such a fabulous place. We love it. The food is by far the best in Truro. A proper sophisticated dining experience, it’s a treat but not at bank breaking prices. Wine is fabulous and the owners are really lovely. We have been back several times with friends, since discovering it in October, and they all totally loved it too. Go! Go! Go!
