Fantastic Sunday dinner, they had no lamb left so we had beef which was just as nice as when we had lamb, but the service was very slow this time, good but slow, will come again soon

Had an absolutely delicious Sunday roast here today, we went for the full monty and all the meats were perfectly cooked and tender, with fresh Yorkshire's and delicious veggies and sides. The starters were amazing too, we were both stuffed! Would highly recommend.

Lovely outdoor space. Great sized pub. Variety of non alcoholic drinks for drivers. Food looked tasty but was only there for a drink with a friend.
Would definitely go there again.

The atmosphere on a sunny evening is just great. That's what drew me in. Lovely terrace. Massive pub..comfy and good food. Nice scene liked it

Always a safe bet in Uckfield. The bar area is massive, as is the restaurant. There's a huge garden area as well, and they renovated the car park recently, which was badly needed! Really good food and drinks selection, great service and a top atmosphere!

We had roast beef meals. It was absolutely delicious. The beef was pink and vegetables done just right. Perfect "compliments to the chef". I would most definitely visit again

Great prompt service from Tess; really well presented and prepared food and a welcoming approach to non-alcoholic cocktails. Highly recommended.
Very clean and tidy, with atmospheric lighting. Slightly spartan feel, not helped by the low customer numbers at 12:45 on a Thursday - maybe a little colour or table furniture would raise the warmth.

My daughter treated me to a wonderful birthday lunch here, and what an amazing find. Great place, friendly staff, and fabulous food. I absolutely loved it ❤️

What a fantastic meal and great service! I ate here with a group of friends on 24th April. We each chose something different from the menu and all of us commented on how tasty our meals were and that we hadn't expected it to be so good. We ordered 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and despite this the chef delivered 10/10 meals.
I am about to book again for this weekend for a family lunch.
