It’s a Costa, what’s not to like. Plenty of car parking and I’m here at the supposed peak time and it is not too busy. I have experienced a friendlier welcome at Costa in other branches and the furniture looks rather tired. The shop is lacking atmosphere, but I think that is because it is one of the prefab square buildings thrown up as a potential retail outlet and then a coffee shop out inside. It lacks intimacy or a care for detail in how it is laid out. However, I am sure the chain knows exactly what it is doing and it will be laid out on a cookie cutter model that is known to work. Certainly can’t fault anything much. Nice coffee.

Costa Coffee Uddingston, is a very welcoming branch. Light & airy inside & extremely clean! The Coffee is so tasty & the atmosphere is relaxing! Got the new golden caramel latte, not much different from the regular caramel latte. Tried the rocky road bar for the first time, sorry but won't be getting it again, very bitter chocolate not my taste. Staff as usual very friendly and helpful.
