A great place to have some great food the next time you are in Ulverston. A mini market alongside the restaurant with some delectable & unique products from different parts of UK & Europe as well.

Gillam's tea room is well worth a visit. The staff are lovely, the food is delicious and well presented and it has a nice calm atmosphere.
My chestnut mushrooms on sourdough toast was exceptional.

Popped into Gilliam’s Tea Rooms today and it is such a lovely place with friendly staff. Sat outside on the lovely terrace with coffee and cake. Could not fault the service that we received from the lovely young man. The only negative was that the carrot cake was a little dry hence the 4 star review. I am still recommending people to visit though.

Welcomed by nice friendly staff. Just called for light lunch, I had mushrooms in garlic sauce on sourdough bread and my wife had the Halumi burger both dishes were really nice. As it was a warm day we sat in the garden area at the back, a really pleasant lunch, would recommend.

Lovely old fashioned atmosphere. Friendly helpful service. Extensive menu. Plenty of healthier options. Some things are a bit pricey for what they are, though. For example, the smoothie was £4.50 for a below average size. It was tasty though.

This is the most wonderful eatery in Cumbria, wonderful friendly hosts, beautiful food and drink served in the most comfortable surroundings. You haven’t experienced Ulverston without paying a visit. Thank you for giving Gregory a lovely birthday xxx
