First time visited pub last night.Was lovely staff welcoming. Meal delicious very hot plenty and presentation superb. Steak delicious. Sea food plater very tasty. Apple / Blackberry pie awesome so tasty. Definitely be back.Anne and Ken

Accommodated 9 of us for an impromptu lunch with a willing welcome . Also kindly supplied an ice cube for a bee sting - that's beyond the call of duty!

Lovely evening meal for four, table close to real fire. Warm welcome and attentive bar staff. Steak and ale pie very tasty. Recommended for pub style food. No separate dining area, but suited us for casual dining.

Called in fora drink after a junior cricket match. Pleased to find that they open at 4pm on a Sunday. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch for four last weekend. Very nice, good prices and lovely setting.
