Absolutely thrilled to come across this independent burger bar. We were a large party celebrating a couple of birthdays. The staff were fabulous, efficient and completely unflappable! Thank you.

Our party tried loads from the menu. Double burgers, chicken burgers, vegan burger, Greek Salad, fries and kids (cub) menu. Milk shakes too.
I will definitely come back. Apologies for anyone else eating in the small restaurant on the day we were there. We were a bit loud. Although it did go very quiet when the food arrived and we all tucked in. Yum!

The first time I went here the guy who I assume runs the place was taking the orders and he explained the specials of that day.. he was so passionate about the food service and food he was providing it convinced me! And it did not disappoint!
The second visit here I had the grizzly chicken and that was again 6/5 stars 🌟 this time I had a different person taking the order but still fantastic service.
On my third time visiting today I has the chicken and waffles. Once again service was out of this world and the food was brill!
If you are thinking of trying this place out, stop thinking and just go!
My partner and I come here literally every month for a treat and sometimes even more! This is our favourite place in the world to eat and we've visited the U.S too. Bear Kitchen's burgers and fries are the best no doubt! Amazing down to earth staff and amazing quality food! Thank you again 😁
Visited here multiple times now and has now become a weekly visit! The food is amazing, the staff are brilliant and it’s priced very good for the standard and amount of food!
Yesterday was our first visit. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service & beautiful food! Will definitely be back & be recommending to everyone!
Really nice strong filter coffee was a change from the chains. Food was of good quality and price which is a factor nowadays wasn’t bad. Service was bob on. And the place was clean with decent music on . I will be back. Sorry about photo I was half way through.

Well, what can I say...
We've passed this place hundreds of times and from the outside it looks very unassuming but today my wife and I decided to 'pop in' for a bite to eat.
Well, the interior is deceiving, rustic and very clean. We were greeted on arrival and shown to a table where the guy (I suspect the owner) spent some time going through the menu with us. After some deliberation I chose a 'bear burger' slaw with harissa honey and orange fries on the recommendation of the girl taking our order, my wife had grilled chicken and sweet potato wedges.
The food was absolutely delicious and the recommendation for fries was spot on.
We don't usually have a desert but I felt we had to try one after the excellent mains, so we shared (I had no choice) a berry cheesecake sundae, I say shared as initially my wife didn't want anything but upon a taster of mine went on to relieve me of half of the sundae...
So to summarise... this is an absolute gem of a place with superb staff and excellent food, give it a try and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

So good I had to go two days on a row.
Great food as normal and even put my order on rush so I could make it to work on time.

Delicious burgers, in my opinion the best burgers in Wakefield. One of the best loaded fries I ever had. 5 🌟 dog friendly service. Definitely I will come back and refer to friends.
