The Kaye Arms

Called in today without a booking and was seated straight away. The menu isn't overly big but still a good selection. Both the wife's and mine lunch was well cooked and presented the sauce was that nice I nearly asked for a slice of bread 😉. We won't hesitate to go again hopefully next time have a beer too

Really nice welcome and the food was wonderful, short notice booking and they really pulled out all the stops and got us seated quickly and efficiently. Cannot speak highly enough of al the staff there as they went above and beyond to get us sorted. Will be making it much more of a regular lunch destination

What you would expect, nothing at wrong with it, country pub fare, mid range prices, decent food. EXTREMELY amiable and helpful staff, nice relaxed atmosphere. Lost a star as it was freezing on the evening we went and despite booking a table a week in advance we ended up on a table right next to the door. Unfortunately, we all ended up eating wearing our coats. Mentioning how cold it was at the bar simply resulted in a "Yes, we know it is freezing in here today"?!?! The fire was barely smouldering, and asking if they could lob a couple more logs on it just seemed to cause confusion as to who could actually carry out said task.....

Nice food, great priced, 2 mains for £19.99, loads of choice We got a homemade steak and ale pie, which was absolutely lovely and a chicken shish kebab. Chicken was rubbery in places, but i still enjoyed it, Thank you. We will definitely visit again Would give a solid 4.5 if i was able to. It was only the chicken that let it down for 5 stars
