Staff were very attentive, they couldn’t do enough for you, the chef came and had a natter to us and to make sure everything was okay. Food is reasonably priced and decent portions too, we had the mixed chicken tikka on a bed of salad starter with mint yogurt sauce and it was beautiful, for the main I had the shin of beef with melted blue Stilton (also came with veg, Yorkshire pud and gravy) and it was stunning. My girlfriend had the slow roasted belly pork which also came with all the trimmings and it was lovely. Would definitely recommend this place but you have to book in advance as the restaurant is quite small. (Photos below)
Nice local pub, with live music on Saturday nights. Great atmosphere, good prices and beers, and right next to the cricket ground if you want to spend a pleasant afternoon in the sun
Went Friday night.lovely seating area outside.There was a turn on a male singer.The bar staff were friendly and beers good.
Went with some friends but I myself don't drink and don't like sport. This is a Sky Sport Pub. The lady behind the bar was very friendly.
Traditional pub. A warm welcome on a cold wet evening. Beer a good price. £3 for a J W Lees. Dog made welcome.

Nice Lille pub with a stunning pint of Madri! This venue is especially good in the summer with its large seating area out the back but watch out for cricket balls!

Played here on Sunday with my band Pac Band. This pub has a great outdoor patio area with a stage area for performing. The pub has some great bargains on drinks and food. Great staff and great audience 👏 👍
