I went to celebrate my great nephew`s birthday (18th), and although I was surprised the pub was not hectic for a Saturday evening, (it normally is) the atmosphere was still lovely. We had a wonderful meal, and drinks, and we also had a birthday cake, balloons etc. The staff were very accommodating, giving us lots of attention to make the evening go well for the birthday boy. Love the pub, and the area, walking around the lake is a must!

Overall a nice pub with friendly staff and good food. Bits and pieces are starting to look a bit tired especially the toilets, no soap in baby change so had to point that out to staff which acted on it, wine glass had lipstick on it so fair to say some basic things aren't getting checked which is a shame post covid

The staff could not be any better, we live local and we absolutely adore this place. They say there are no strangers here just friends you haven’t met yet. The new menu is is very tasty, and the pork belly bits are a must.

What a bank holiday? What am atmosphere with the live music and the service. These guys were the best, even though they had to clean up after a friend!

Booked for a table of 8, turned up and was seated promptly, service was exemplary, swift and courteous. The food itself was well presented, impressively portioned and tasty for the price paid. The atmosphere Inside was comfy and inviting. All in all a great time was had and would happily go back.
