Los Mariachis Wallingford

I visited on a business trip and wanted to find something that was visited by locals. When I arrived I had to park across the street as the parking lot was completely full (granted it wasn't very large, but I took it as a sign that it was popular). When I got inside it was definitely busy with lots of guests, but I was able to be seated right away regardless. I think I arrived right after the main dinner rush. I ordered the steak tacos and really enjoyed them. The serving side was just right as well. I'd definitely recommend visiting.

This place, which originally received 5 stars from me on Yelp, has really gone down hill in the last year. Between the service and quality of the food, I am disappointed that one of my favorite spots has taken this turn, and I’m not sure if it’ll be getting better any time soon. The food and atmosphere doesn’t have the same love that it once did. Hope they can turn things around but til then I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Real homemade Mexican cuisine!wide selection of food and drinks. Order tamales with your dinner.. you will not be disappointed, they are so delicious and flavorful. Friendly staff and restaurant is very clean. Stop in for a drink or two and some food with friends. This will be your favorite place to go.

I haven’t been to the restaurant and can’t speak to that but ordered from the food truck today and it was phenomenal. I had the quesadilla with pork which came with sour cream and delicious fresh guacamole. Also shared some churros with my daughter which were mouth watering. All made fresh and the staff was very friendly and courteous.

My mother and i been going there for years. We love the food and everything. We went last Friday and the total was $70.85 and I always tip in cash and I tipped him $20.00 because he was really nice and kind. I woke up this morning with a tip added to my total after I cross it out and after I tipped in cash this is really uncalled for.stealing from your long term customers. I will not be going there again after this has happened.

Our first time there. All of the food & drinks were great. Chips came out with a spicy red dipping sauce (decent heat not overpowering) and a non-spicy green cilantro dipping sauce. I ate them both and got a second round. We ordered tostadas as an appetizer which all tasted wonderful with the melted cheese holding everything together on it. We both had Chicken Chimichangas. Both were large and tasted great. Beans & rice awesome. We tried the Cadillac Margarita, Patron Margarita, and the Red Sangria...All were great and not skimpy on the alcohol (as compared to other restaurants). Desert was also great and surprised us. We order the Churros. They came out hot with an apple filling, whipped cream and chocolate sauce...we cleared the plate. Service was great. Our waiter stayed on top of thing. Glad we got there a little early for dinner...by the time we left the place was packed. We will definitely be going here instead of Chili's, Margarita's, or Palace Azteca. The food was definitely easier on the digestive system than some of the other places.
