Sliders Grill & Bar - Wallingford

Horrible service was supposed to be ready & paid for. A big argument with the staff while the management hid in the back( you were seen). Had to return home to get my card then went back low & behold all my information was found. So I spent an hour away from my own party so you could figure out how to run your business & wasn't even offered anything off my bill for this horrible service. If I could give 5 negative stars I would.

I went to Sliders for the first time and it could not have been a better choice. Patryce was our waitress and she was more than we could ask for. She asked all the right questions and offered all the right suggestions. Patryce even offered ideas in the area for things to do and really made us feel welcomed.

Been a few times in the last few months and I've always had a good experience. The staff here seem to be really nice, friendly, and attentive. Even when we were here on a busy Friday (or was it Saturday) and sat in a corner of the bar, we were never neglected. The wings here are really good. Clearly some of this depends on what flavor you get, but the dry rubs always come out crispy and full of flavor. This time around I got the buffalo chicken salad (with the hot buffalo sauce) and it was really good. It may look like it doesn't have a lot of chicken but when you cut it up it's plenty. Salad greens were crisp and dry (I hate when you get a pool of water at the bottoms of the bowl). And the dressing always comes on the side. Worth noting that they have 2 happy hours - one that ends at 6pm and another from 9pm -11pm. I like this location and will definitely be back.
