Visited for a girls night, had a wonderful evening. Beautifully refurbished, well made drinks, good menu range and Andy and the team took excellence care of us. Will definitely be coming back.

The pub has been recently refurbished and the new restaurant/bar area looks fantastic. As the weather was warm we sat in the garden which has been decked out with new picnic tables and had a really nice atmosphere. The food was great - delicious burger, chips, salad. A great experience all round and very friendly service. We hope to come back soon!

I went there with my partner for an evening meal and we had a wonderful experience. The food was simple (as not pretentious) with really great ingredient (the bread and olive oil was fabulous) and the service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

Stumbled upon this pub on a Monday evening. Two of the three cask ales available. I settled on Stay Jammy. By Amwell Springs brewery. Also available on the night Rude not too. By the same brewery. Large TV showing sport.
The pub hosted a, Brush party. A painting class. It provided entertainment for me as I watched their creations unfold.

This pub is open friendly and the service is awesome. I moved to wallingford over a year ago and I have been out drinking twice in that time, I don't seem to be able to leave this pub until they stop serving. Staff and customers are top notch.

We had Sunday roast which was really good. Landlord was a good fella, had a laugh and joke. Staff did very well despite it being busy.

We booked in on a cold wet rainy night. They were super friendly, got a fire going in the stove outside for us, provided blankets, and the beer and burgers were really good! Social distancing was good too.

Great Sunday lunch with the family. All happy with their various roasts and large selection of vegetables. Boat of gravy if required plus amazing selection of desserts at just £3.00.

Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. Room clean and had everything we needed. Shared bathroom and toilet but didn't have a problem with that. Clean towels for us to use. Tea and coffee facilities are available. Parking just around the corner but free until 9am. Food is good and was a good price. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks dave and staff. Look forward to staying again in the future.. Oh and there is a lock on the bathroom door!!!!
