Had the best lunch here today :) Not one to leave reviews often but this place is definitely deserving of one! Starters, mains and desserts were all great. Chris was lovely, thank you for your service. Thank you to the chef for the amazing food and thank you Molly dog for the cuddles. Will definitely return when in the area. Highly recommend a visit here! :)

I am local to The Hare. I used to drink there every week. There has been a change of lease. Last week (it was Friday 13th) there was a new manager. A group of us were drinking and we had a tab. Unfortunately the bill did not correspond to what we had consumed - these things happen. However the way this error was handled by the manager was extremely unpleasant. The manager was very confident that it was the fault of the clients (apparently he never makes mistakes ). Maybe he was right but we are pretty sure he wasn't. A compromise was needed, maybe further investigation (we had been served by two people) but no, it was the fault of the clients as far as the manager was concerned and we were going to be made to feel uncomfortable about it. We left with a bitter taste in our mouths. I cannot comment on the food as I haven't eaten there. It looks good. The beer is kept well.
UPDATE I am please to say that the offending manager has now left and I am very pleased to be able to drink in my local pub again.
Breakfast first visit here, wow! Beautiful place, great design. Very, very friendly and amazing service. Complimentary drinks with pastry and tone of toasts😲 First of a kind! Btw all delicious! Highly recommended 👌🏻. I wish we can come one day for a roast as it looked amazing.
Had an amazing time, the afternoon tea was lovely. They used lovely china crockery and the service was first class. Was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
Enjoyed an amazing meal at the Extraordinary Hare last night, super value for money, wonderful staff and delicious food!
We misjudged the time to get there and arrived early, this wasn't a problem for the waitress and she showed us to our table with a smile and friendly nature. We placed our order and the food arrived in good time. I ordered the haloumi kebab for £14.95, and couldn't believe the (large) size of the portion and the variety of good on the platter.
I have nothing bad at all to say about them, even the decor and atmosphere were lovely. The prices are comparable to other places nearby, but I'd say the portion sizes are better here.
I would definitely recommend trying here if you haven't already.
We visited the Extraordinary Hare for a family roast. We were greeted with smiles and taken to our table. Our drinks orders were taken, shortly after and drinks arrived. Once we had chosen from the menu our food orders were taken and the very delicious food arrived piping hot and fresh around 25/30 mins later (which shows it's homemade, none of this fast microwave food). We have 2 beef roasts, 1 lamb roast, cod goujons and chicken kebabs. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every part of their meal.
We then had desserts - which I can personally say have been the best we have ever had. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at the Extraordinary Hare and will be going back soon.
Lovely pub with country surroundings and easy to get to. Had a great atmosphere and a Sunday menu with 1-3 courses for under £20pp.
Will come again for a desert but didn’t manage to get through one course! Love the refurbishment
Had lunch here today. The refurbishment is just lovely and very in keeping with the pub. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it! Pub was busy which was great to see. So good to see it reopened. Will definitely be returning.
