Came last weekend (Saturday) and again today (Sunday) for a family meal.
Food was perfect both days.
The Toffee Crunch Pie dessert was to die for.😍
Great little local, super friendly staff and locals, who accept you without question. Amazing interior decor, huge car park and gardens. Free WiFi, great menu, decent drink prices.
A must visit.
I'll certainly be back.

Very pleased Upon arrival, lovely welcoming pub. We'd booked here for bank holiday as on the website the advertise children's play area, unfortunately it was unsafe and not available to use. We we're a bit disappointed 😞 until the food arrived. The food was amazing, we all chose different meals but each one was presented beautifully hot and fresh. And tasted fantastic. Hats off to the chef. Honestly worth the visit. The seating area outside was beautiful too 😍 will definitely be returning.
Launched from there yesterday (only while closed) and couldn't believe how much they have done to accommodate the outdoors area for everyone, especially us paddlers, cant wait for you to open your doors again - well done guys. Hope next stop will include burger, chips and ice cold cider 👍👍👍👍👍
Good Sunday roast (plenty of beef and excellent roast spuds) and the staff were very pleasant and efficient considering they were short-staffed. I've knocked off one star though because our table was SO sticky, even though it didn't look dirty. I'd suggest a good wash down with a sugar soap solution to get rid of the stickiness.
Comfortable room for us and our dog with welcoming staff. The food was fine.
When I booked I was asked if it was a special occasion. It was a 50th anniversary. They said they would decorate table, their suggestion and I requested a bottle of prosecco on the table. Neither happened so was disappointed. However food was very good and pleasant waitress. The table was a bit sticky. I think this is due to whatever cleaner they are using as I saw the tables being cleaned so it wasn't because they weren't cleaned.
The pub was very busy with a private function, but service was efficient and friendly. The food was unexceptional, but fresh and tasty. The vegetarian menu was a bit limited, so my wife went for an omelette. I went for a Cajun salmon salad. The portions were generous and the price reasonable. There were plenty of meaty choices.
Went here for my father in laws birthday. There were 9 of us of all ages and included 2 vegatarians and 1 vegan. The service was excellent from the minute we walked through the door, friendly but professional. There was a great choice on the menu, which if felt catered for all tastes. The food was well cooked and presented and everyone said they enjoyed their food. The pub itself was the old style rustic look (which I love) and had a really relaxed feel about it. Would happily recommend this pub to anyone and will definitely be returning.
We eat here about 6 times each year for the past 5 years and the meals just get better. A wide selection is on offer and we try to have something different on each visit. We have always been served excellent meals. The food is fresh, good quality and prepared perfectly. The staff pride themselves on being friendly, polite and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble and during our last visit on 11th June 2018, we were looked after by Christie. She spent time with us talking about the menu and the various items that were on the specials list. Christie represents the Jolly Farmer wonderfully and is an asset to the pub. We enjoyed another amazing meal followed by a dessert sent from heaven.
Thank you Jolly Farmer for always being our place to look forward to visiting.
