Our family (including a 20 mth old baby) had Sunday lunch here today. The food and service were amazing. The staff literally couldn't do enough for us. The food (we had 2 courses) was delivered promptly and was cooked to perfection. The lamb shank was delicious, the meat and vegetables were cooked perfectly. The staff were super helpful, polite and were fantastic with my daughter. The wine was super cheap but gorgeous. All in all a fantastic family lunch. Thank you!
Nice food, just enough vegetarian options on the menu to give me some choice, desserts were good too, always important!! It was busy but service was good. Nice location. All in, a nice meal out. We'll definitely be back. :)
A holiday to Warsash meant a meal here, which was really lovely. The Rising Sun is dog friendly, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Kelly and the team made sure both ourselves, the dogs, and all customers were looked after. This place was worth the visit, and we are already planning another visit next year. Warsash has great WWII history and its place on the river Hamble and its pretty harbour of boats and yachts is so worth seeing.
We visited twice within a week April 2022 with family group to celebrate my grandma's birthday and were made to feel very welcome. Service was warm and friendly, especially to our special birthday lady. Thankyou 😍 great location.
A decent pub visit for some drinks with family and my husband! It's a cozy, welcoming pub with a good drink selection. I enjoyed a nice crisp Guinness!
They're dog-friendly and have a doggie water bowl out front too! Note that there's only paid-parking in the area. Within walking distance to the Hamble ferry.
Come in on my own for food everyone was so lovely it was such a beautiful pub clean and warm. Right next to the water. The blond lady on the bar was very welcoming. The chef lady brought my food out with a warming smile and the food was perfect and come so quickly. The 4 staff I had contact with were so lovely. Can't recommend enough!
Very nice pub, friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced.
We’ve late breakfast at Saturday morning, foods are delicious and love to sit at the big window, a good view of the sea side!
Fabulous position with lots of parking(public) which was free after 6pm,very warm welcome and great service We all had fish and chips which were delicious, with great quality fish.
Only disappointment was the cost of the wine,I must admit I didn't check the price and was shocked when I realised it was £8.37 a glass so unfortunately my 2 glasses cost £16.74 😕
What a lovely welcome you get here from Sharon and Kelly.
The pub is in a lovely setting with friendly people.
The food was very tasty too.
I haven't been here for 47 years, it has changed a tad .....
I'm now living back in the Warsash area as it happens, and the pub is still going strong.
The quiet old Hamble I knew in the 1970s is now hugely busy and full of (moored) plastic boats that don't seem to go out often.
Nice pub, Greene King, food came out quick and was very fresh and tasty. Beers were tasty and obviously from a well-kept cellar.
Great pub on the harbour at Warsash.
Service friendly and professional, willing to help.
Gnocchi was superb fir a light lunch and other guests meals looked well portioned and freshly cooked. Reasonable priced lunch. Wide variety available.
Well attended so booking is advisable
