Brought friends here for their first visit, they were blown away but not only the food but the friendly welcome and atmosphere, the fact we could bring in dogs made it extra special … plenty of room for our 8st boy to relax without being in the way on anyone else…
Now the reason for being there Lunch ….my advice is to not eat be fore you arrive, portions are a fabulous size and oh gosh so tasty … the mushroom & Brie wellington is to die for, mash potato was so creamy and it was lovely to have vegetables that are absolutely in season
We have already talked about what we will all eat when we come back
( which will be as soon as we can )

A great evening at the New Inn with good food, great service and a really good atmosphere. All 4 of our group said what a great time we had (and great value!). Especial thanks to Caroline who looked after us so well - great skill and diplomacy to get us to stop nattering (and drinking) and getting us to sit down and order!

Thank you to Danny and the team at the New Inn. After a visit to Warwick Castle we called in for food and drinks.
We were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
The food was fantastic, as was the service.
I would highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting the area.
If you like real ale, Danny certainly knows what he is doing and you will always get a great drink.
Thank you again and I'm sure we will be back when I'm next in the area.

My wife and I and 4 friends from Solihull had a meal at the pub yesterday evening. The friends were curious to experience our community pub. We all had a great time with large portions of absolutely delicious fresh food beautifully cooked and excellent low key service all in a lovely ‘local’ pub atmosphere. Also the food and drink was not expensive.
Well done Danny and Phil ( the chef)

We had Sunday lunch at the New Inn (after completing one of the pub’s recommended walks) and it was A*** !! We couldn’t fault any of it, we had a warm welcome, the staff were all very friendly, the service was spot on and the food was delicious. And to make it even better, it was all for a very reasonable price. We’ll be coming back again and recommending it to others. Oh, and the walk was great too, the directions worked well, there are 5 walks in all, of different lengths starting and finishing at the pub, perfect 👍

Simply amazing atmosphere and food at this pub. Just make sure you book for food on a Friday as it's very popular and have the mindset to enjoy yourself.

There was a review about the pub that said it was too loud and busy on a Friday night. How ridiculous to post such a thing. It is loud and busy for a reason. It’s a great pub, that is why.
Staff are great. Danny is always helpful. People like going there.
Don’t criticise a pub for being very popular!

Excellent pub with an amazing selection of ales (Camara award winner), wines and gins. Friendly staff and locals with a fantastic atmosphere on Friday night. Eaten here on a Friday and Sunday now and the food is good quality pub grub with excellent portions. Sunday lunch is well worth a visit (I’m told the lamb came from the field next to the pub). Believe the pub is owned by the community after it was closed by the brewery - what a credit to them it is. A proper village pub where all are welcome; except Peter Gogerly - I’ve just read his review of the New Inn and he sounds like the kind of guy I’d cross the road to avoid.

Excellent community pub which s steadily improving. the range of reals are well kept and are expanding with a new TV screen showing the beer menu! A community shop has just opened within the car park. A really important asset for the community.
