The menu. It’s the perfect amount of lively during dining with a jazz band through the week and other music. The decor is lovely. Great quality tables and chairs.
What a fabulous place. I really loved my meal here. Great decor, comfortable, clean. Brilliant service with friendly happy attentive staff. I had small plates (tapas) and thoroughly enjoyed what was on offer. I would definitely recommend the beef burnt ends. I sampled several cocktails from their extensive menu they were all well made, served in the correct glassware and tasted delicious. I had the banana parfait for dessert which although nice I feel could have been stronger in flavour and sweeter. Toilets were clean and well presented, a lovely little courtyard out the back. This wasn't the cheapest of places but I felt I got value for money as food and drink was excellent. Definitely will return and would recommend still can't believe this is in Waterlooville and what used to be the old Wellington of all places! Well done Number 73 what a transformation.
The service we got yesterday at Number 73 was just fab. First time visiting the No73 and it was not a disappointment. Very attentive & helpful waitress/barmaid who was very prompt with our order, food & coffees came very quickly. If you want a light lunch there is a small selection of toastiest and breakfast stops at the usual time. There is lots of Parking nearby which can be found on RingGo. If you arriving with a pram/wheel chair front door access has a step and might be tricky if you are alone, the door pulls open, towards you.
Fantastic Venue
Decided to go the Bar 73 for a roast dinner - what a great choice it was. The roast lamb was divine, just the right amount without leaving me stuffed.

Have been hearing great things about the food at number 73. Had the pleasure of going for dinner for a special occasion and I was very pleased. The options of the small plates is fantastic. Have been back since to try the Sunday roast & breakfast. They’re also delicious and we left very very pleased👌👌Great place, incredible food.

I can't recommend this place enough, it was truly amazing.
The staff were extremely polite and attentive, smiling throughout my time there. The tapas style food was beautiful and encouraged us to try new things, food was presented beautifully and all tasted amazing. Then the atmosphere of Number 73 was brilliant, lively bar with a range of seating and then a more relaxed dining area. Decor was perfect for the feel of the bar, everywhere was spotlessly clean and well kept. This bar/restaurant is perfect for just a few drinks or out for an evening meal, it is worth every penny.
Me and my partner will most definitely be returning to try other things on the menu, as everything looked amazing as it went past to other tables. It really is a lovely night out 💕
Love this place. Such incredibly friendly staff, comfortable bar and restaurant area and it’s great value. Big fan of the new menu - recommend any of the calzones, the chicken tenders are great (I could live off the jalapeño aioli) and the burnt ends are banging. Can’t really believe there’s something this good in Waterlooville.
Great evening out, our first try since moving here. Tapas dishes were superb, cocktails were brilliant, service was spot on and there was some entertainment by the bar too. Glad to see it so busy on a Thursday. Will definitely return
We went to brunch here hoping it would be good. I couldn't find any pictures of breakfasts in other reviews, so it was a bit of a risk as we are quite picky! Between four people, we had three big breakfasts, with a choice of eggs and one eggs benedict. All four of us rated the food 5*. Great quality sausages, fresh mushrooms and crispy hash browns, alongside eggs, bacon, proper butter, special beans and brown/white toast. The atmosphere was excellent. Decor was fab and gave the place a really nice feel to it. They've even decorated for Halloween. Large breakfast and a drink each came to £25 - a bargain! Would highly recommend!
