Tijuana Flats

Went for Taco Tuesday. Was pleasantly surprised. Not a frequent guest there, Savannah made me feel welcome. She explained the specials and gave recommendations. They have whole wheat tortillas. Enjoyed the jalapeno lime wings. The crunchy ground beef tacos did not fall apart. Will definitely eat there again and recommend.

Online ordered 5 different items. Everything was wrong after getting it home. The "New" Garlic Shrimp Bowl was missing half of the ingredients. I received no guac,no salsa, no peppers and onions and 5 measly shrimp. The rice was supposed to be lime flavored and wasn't. Didn't get the chips and salsa either. Every item ordered was missing at least one ingredient . It was my daughter's birthday and I hate ordering online because something always gets messed up but I was ordering a lot and for different people. I will not be returning.

Disgusting, over-priced fast food. Nearly $35 for 2 burritos and some chips. The burritos has almost no meat, the meat that was in them was rubbery and gross. The rice, which was most of the burrito, was dried out and crunchy. Just plain bad. Also, they tried to give us our incomplete order after waiting nearly 15 minutes for our food that was obviously not made fresh.

Our local taco restaurant is the best! We've been here twice now in the short time we've lived in Wellington, Fl. The cashier guy was really nice. They have a hot sauce bar with a ton of choices and different heats. The great thing here is you get to taste it and purchase them if you like it. That to me is the best idea I hate buying hot sauce and it not being hot enough or tasting like vinegar and here you get a sample of them. The restaurant is clean. The menus are on the wall it's one you order at the counter and they bring it to you. The food comes out super fast. It does have a couple of tables outside too. The waitress who delivered the meals was nice too. The chips are nice and fresh tasting. The softshell chicken taco was really good. The prices are really good too.

You know that feeling when you're so hungry you just want a place to eat that will not only fill you up but also feeling satisfied? I love such places but this is NOT the place. Speaking of my experience at the location on Wellington Trace, today's stop in was far from pleasant. The young lady who served me said that it was taco Tuesday. 2 tacos for $7. I'm thinking, ok, most places I've gone to for tacos have chips and salsa and the tacos are filled up so that's not too bad of a deal, right? Wrong. I ordered two blackened chicken hard tacos. For starters, the meager portion of semi stale chips did not even come with salsa and the skimpy tacos had some weird, waxy meat which looked like processed chicken. I couldn't eat any more than two bites and then I left. This is the second time going somewhere for Mexican food where there is no one but white people working in the establishments and both times the food was horrible and far from authentic. I'm white btw so no I'm not prejudice. Lesson learned though and I'll just stick to the authentic places I've gone to for tacos.
