All good. We visited last week-an early evening it was very quiet- a bit too quiet but we have a young family who needed to eat. Looks a bit scruffy outside but was fine inside. Food and drink was all good, staff were attentive and chatty, toilets all fine, Kids happy so parents happy :-).

Didn't even make it inside!
I was supposed to be meeting some friends here as I was in the area to pick something up from around the corner, pulled up in the almost completely empty car park... friends were still about 10 minutes out so figured I would pop round the corner pick up what I was there to get and meet them inside (as it's never fun as a lone female having to sit and wait around in a pub you don't know)... but as soon as I stepped out my car 4 old men sat by the pub door started shouting, I returned 2 minutes later to wait for my friends before going inside and the old men were still shouting and seemed quite aggressive (by the sounds of it because i hadn't teleported inside the moment I opened my car door when I parked) not sure if they were customers or the landlord but obviously phoned my friends and told them we should go somewhere else for a drink as you seem to get abuse before you even have a chance to walk in the door here!

Great Pub, with great hosts, great food and serve the best Thatchers Gold for miles.
Every Thursday during the skittle season you will be able to see some class skittling from the King Pins and their stable mates the Mowers.

Went for steak night best steaks ever had, you need to book and order your steak in advance, also this is a cash only pub......given a 4 as pub toilets could do with been updated x
