Super place to see wildlife. It is great for children to learn about wildlife, too. The pond room is brilliant. It is the activity room for children. However, everyone should go in to see the way it is decorated. It is truly inspired

Nice place, it's pretty much all in a straight line, which is good if you have a talent for getting lost. Saw my first whooper swan so that was a tick in the box! Plus a group of cranes and quite a few great egrets too. Loads of dragonflies and red admiral butterflies.

A lovely place to visit with a variety of wildlife. We visited during winter and summer and was lots to see both seasons.

This is an amazing place for nature. It is the epitome of peace and tranquility. Upon arrival I was a little concerned that almost all the visitors were 50+ and mostly men and I was visiting with my family including two young children. As such I felt somewhat out of place but I needn't have. Welney Wetland Centre is suitable for everyone of any age and ability. There are very welcoming of children. They have amazing backpacks that children can borrow while they are visiting which include bird identification charts, small binoculars. bug pots with magnifying lens as well as sheets with crayons to do brass rubbings at various intervals around the centre. My children absolutely loved them and it made the visit all the more enjoyable. Most of the main part of the centre is very accessible, probably even in a wheelchair. There was a section in a lesser used part that was very muddy and there were sections closed of due to breeding I believe but there was plenty to see in the main area that was open. A great place to experience peace, beauty and above all birds and I would heartily recommend this place to all people.

I liked it....couple of nice walks on the site...super visitor centre.... spacious hides and lots of little mini view spots....looking forward to my next visit in hopefully not such blazing sunshine...as not that much shade on the fens!

The long rocky road to the Welney Wetland Centre is an adventure in itself! Take it slowly to preserve your car suspension! A superb nature reserve awaits at the end however. Spotlessly clean facilities, very good coffee, friendly and helpful staff and a smashing selection of birds and dragonflies today 18th September. I will definitely want to visit again when the swans start arriving next month. Plenty of hides and the main hide is very comfortable indeed with great views over the wetlands.

Absolutely stunning facility- I went with a friend and was really struck by how beautiful the Wetlands and wildlife are. Will definitely be back! It's disabled accessible and everything is very modern and luxurious. Really impressive!

A very enjoyable visit, with lots of birds to see on the reserve. Tree sparrows with the House sparrows on the feeders that you look down on from the café also saw a Short-eared owl from here quartering the Lady Fen area. Lots of swans are distant feeding on the surrounding fields but come back to roost. Everywhere felt clean and safe with COVID rules to wear masks in the hides and the centre. Had a nice drink and the sausage roll was big and crunchy and delicious!

Peaceful place with stunning scenery especially at break of dawn to see the swans. Extensive area, plenty of walks and a cafe present. Knowledgeable, friendly staff who genuinely care about nature and the welfare of the area. Great day out for all the family to learn about the swans.

Wonderful place. So much to see hear, experience and learn. Other worldly in the best possible way. Friendly and helpful staff and great value for money.
