Golden Mayfair

Loved our first meal eating in here. The service was really friendly, and the food was delicious. You can tell this was cooked fresh and care was taken to make sure it was authentic. Food was miles ahead of when it used to be Chinese. Will definitely be telling our friends and family to try this restaurant!

My husband and I just had an amazing meal at the Golden Mayfair. The food was so tasty and the owners who also cook the food are such lovely genuine people. They deserve every success as they put their heart and soul into the food and experience for their customers. They have only been open for 4 months after taking the business solely into their own hands and turning it around into something very special. This is a gem of place. I will be recommending to all my friends and family. We’ll be going back soon! Thank you for a lovely evening!

I come here somewhat frequently and I must say I really approve of their rebranding into primarily Malaysian cuisine. It's so refreshing to see a thriving Malaysian restaurant, as those are hard to come by in Westcliff. Great food, and also great service. My personal favourite has to be the beef renddang but looking forward to trying some other dishes on a future visit!

It is not easy to find a Malaysian restaurant in this area, but to find a good one with authentic tasting dishes is wonderful. The beef rendang is exceptional and we chatted the whole meal comparing our food to what we get on our visits to Malaysia. Good service, clean and reasonably priced added to a great visit. We will be back!

We found this place after a sunny day out at Southend. Lovely authentic dishes and the staff were very friendly. We ordered several dishes to share among 4 people. Took some photos at the start but got too engross eating and forgot to take photos of all the other dishes. The satay chicken with peanut sauce was amazing. Kan Lo Mein brought back the taste of home. Roti canai with curry was extremely tasty. The sambal chilli that came with the nasi lemak had little anchovies and was delicious. Beef rendang was very tender. My husband like the char kway teow as well. All the dishes were lovely and is hard to choose a favourite. We also had milo and milk tea which was just the right sweetness. All in all, a great dinner. Is a lovely place to go for a meal and we will certainly be back

Wow wow wow! This has to be my new favourite restaurant! The food is outstanding and the service was superb! Really friendly atmosphere, the restaurant is also beautifully decorated. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. The food is the best chinese food I have ever tasted. It is fresh and not greasy at all! I will definitely be back to try out other dishes on the menu!
