Wonderful place- great atmosphere, really elegant with a relaxed vibe. Delicious food, traditional Indian with a modern take. Exceptional staff, who are friendly and attentive. Special thanks to the lovely gentleman Mukesh, who served us. Plus a special mention to Hasan, Shawan and Rajik who also assisted us. Thank you. We will definitely come back!

Graduation Dinner Shampan @ The Spinning Wheel 16/9/2023 We celebrated the Graduation of our Daughter specifically selecting Shampan at The Spinning Wheel as our venue due to the countless awards they have won and the exquisite decor of the restaurant. We were hugely impressed with everything from our service, ambiance, decor and most importantly the quality of the food. We were made to feel very welcome by the attentive staff and the atmosphere made our celebration even more meaningful and memorable. I would without a moment’s hesitation recommend this restaurant for all your special events where you will feel proud to entertain your guests knowing that you will receive excellent service and hospitality and exceptional food. Absolutely amazing experience at Shampan. We had our wedding reception 2 weeks previously and the guests said the service and food was exceptional. However we were invited back to try the restaurant today and I have to say our minds have been blown by the food and service. Such a professional environment run like a well oiled machine. Starters and mains extremely well presented with flavours to match. The final course was our dessert and not expecting too much from desserts in an Indian restaurant we were pleasantly surprised. These wouldn’t have been out of place in a Michelin starred establishment. Thank you so much to Raju and his team for two amazing experiences. Needless to say we will definitely be back.

We went for a birthday dinner after August Bank Holiday so the place was empty. But this was certainly not due to the lack of quality. I can't believe this place is not packed all the time. Food was excellent - I don't normally eat onion bhajis as they are greasy, but these were amazing. Chicken Tikka Masala was full of flavour and veggie kebab was full of warm spices. They are also doing deals - we got 2 starters and 2 mains for the price of one! Service also very good. Very friendly staff.
