Nice place but the kitchen couldn't keep up with the orders. We'd visit again but would hope for hotter food next time. Good coffee and staff.

Beautiful weather made this lovely tearoom really busy and the 2 lovely ladies running it were pushed to their limits.
Saying that though, they served extremely politely with a very friendly manner. Apologising for the wait and dealing efficiently with orders.
The food was excellent. Piping hot and very tasty. Bacon, brie &cranberry baguette and ham,egg & chips both thoroughly recommended.
We felt really valued as customers and can't wait to go back to try their delicious selection of home-made cakes.

Went to the Tudor Rose this morning with my daughter and our dog. The owner, Kelly, was so friendly and kindly found us a table outside in the sunshine and told us that the shop next door sold doggie ice-cream - which our dog loved! We felt so welcome. Had the best caramel latte and a delicious bacon sarnie, which really hit the spot. We saw another table with an afternoon tea, which looked amazing and we will be booking to come back. Thanks Kelly

My daughter's birthday lunch. 6 of us: no problem. Daughter's gluten-free diet: no problem, including an outstanding lemon curd cake produced from nowhere. Good food, friendly service. As our 4 year old granddaughter, in between mouthfuls, said: 'I love this place!'
