I’ve been frequenting the borough for many years, but this is the first Time I’ve actively wanted to write a review…
1st day of the new menu with a new chef and that was quite honestly the best steak I’ve had in Weston… and incredibly reasonably priced. The owners and staff are always very friendly and welcoming, the pub is always clean and clearly looked after, and with sport and live music it has something for everyone!

Went today as they launched their new menu - food was outstanding. Steak was cooked to perfection. Brilliant value for money. Friendly, welcoming staff.
Glad to see the return of good home cooked food within the pub. New chef is an absolute asset to the pub.

Family pub, run and owned, Simon and his mum and dad make it a welcoming and friendly place to visit. Proper pub food, great value and choice of drinks. Dog friendly aswell. Check out the regular bands playing at the weekends. Regular extra value food offers availble. Thursday steak night a great addition.

Dropped in here after an evening at college learning about Neurodiversity. Plenty of space for the 8 of us that enjoyed some decompression following the training. Staff and regulars were warm and welcoming, making sure doors were held open for people with mobility issues. Enjoyed an hour chatting.

Lovely, friendly staff, (prices a little dear, but that seems to be the way with pubs nowadays! Greedy breweries killing the trade@!), live bands on occasional Fridays, makes it a great venue to sup a cool beer or 2

The food here is so so good. Popped in after the gym for a nice lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Definitely recommend and will go again!

Had a midweek lunchtime meal. It is a big pub and was quiet, but the barman was very friendly. We waited a little while for the meal which is a good sign that its maybe being freshly made.
The food was great, plentiful and cheap with both main courses being well under £10 each, difficult to find these days. It is a simple no notice pub, but I would highly recommend as an impromptu venue for a meal.

Only went for a couple of drinks with friends sunday late afternoon. The garden is dog friendly and I think so is the bar. The bar is in 2 halfs one side has a pool table, darts board and sports tv, the other half had a cosy atmosphere (as it was getting a bit cold outside and we went inside) nice choice of drinks but no coffee but still enjoyable

Initial feelings were that it had nice decor,it was clean and the general feel of the place was quite positive. Very friendly lady behind the bar and seemed to be working on her own, at least front of house anyway. They served food and the menu was quite varied, seemed to have something for everyone, the presentation was nice and the food tasted lovely and the range of drinks availablewas good and also really nice. I would recommend this as a place to have a good pub meal and/or have some drinks.
