Went for Sunday lunch on what happened to be a quiet day due to a certain world cup match. Regardless of this the food was impeccable and great value for money, we also appreciated that we didn't feel awkward even though we were one of the only tables. Staff were all lovely and the interior was really nice too!

First time eating here last Sunday. Very pleasant pub surroundings and atmosphere and friendly and efficient staff. I had pie of the day (lamb) and my wife the roast chicken and thai fishcake to start. Got to say that all the food was delicious and well cooked. Only criticism would be that I would have expected a couple of fishcakes in the starter rather than just one, but otherwise found it to be a great place to go for a bite to eat. Will definitely eat here again.

Lovely place - 4 of us ate here on Saturday 6th November and we were not disappointed. It's a lovely clean pub, nicely laid out tables and the staff are so warm and welcoming. There was a good choice on the menu and the food was utterly delicious. We had mains and desserts and everything was absolutely perfect and could not be faulted (even though one of our party usually manages to find fault with everything:)) We didn't have starters but we saw some being delivered to another table and they looked equally delicious - great service, great place, great food and reasonable prices plus as a bonus they are dog friendly. This is a real hidden gem and we will be back.

Really great place, we were immediately welcomed by lovely staff and were quickly served drinks, they also served the most lovely bread to start and our food quickly followed, the presentation was amazing and the food was extremely delicious same with the dessert. Also couldn't be happier with the covid safety measures with glass screens between tables and staff wearing visors. Would definitely recommend.

We have been coming here for a few years now and every time it is perfection! We love coming here and wish we lived closer - we'd be here every Sunday! We love everything about this place, the delicious food, the atmosphere and friendly staff and superb value for money. We had black pudding, scallops for starter, roast chicken and roast beef dinners and we both had the apple & rhubarb crumble & custard. It was all so delicious and perfectly presented. Looking forward to coming back soon!
