We hadn’t booked, & was just very lucky to be walking past this Chinese at the right time, to get the last table they had free at that time.
Everyone was very accommodating, & the waitresses and waiters were working very hard and efficiently in what was a very busy environment. The food was delicious, & I would thoroughly recommend this place to people who are in Weymouth (Just ensure you book in advance if you’re going to eat in!).
Thankyou 🙂

Went here while on holiday. Even though the restaurant was busy we were lucky to get a table. Would recommend you book in advance. The food was excellent. Friendly staff and top class service.

Opted for Chinese for our evening meal this place was amazing. Quite busy which is always a good sign. Vegetable spring rolls, steamed scallops and prawns for starters. Vegetable curry, Ming wahs special and boiled rice for mains and a bowl of curry sauce. The Ming wahs special was a sizzling dish on a cast iron dish which was a bonus. There was so much food we couldn’t finish it all which was a shame as it was so tasty.

Nice experience at the Mingwah where the atmosphere and service was very good.
Food was also nice as had the set menu. Highly recommend the chicken satay because the sauce is so flavoursome. Nearly everything cooked perfect. Recommend visiting here and would go again.

On holiday and advised by locals to pre-book, so we did for 6.30 (Saturday), got to our table at 6.25 and ordered 5 minutes later but didn't get our meals until 7.15.
Food was excellent but the service was very poor, the staff are more focused on the DELIVEROO orders and the whole ensemble was chaotic.
BEWARE⚠️ service charge on final bill! We asked for an amended bill and it was taken off. Shame 'cause the food was really good - King Prawn Fried Noodles & House Special Fries Noodles.

Food was delivered hot and very tasty. All lovely and fresh. Would definitely order from these again. Food ordered was King Prawn chow mein... mushroom chow mein...boiled rice ..egg fried rice.. curry sauce. All lovely.

Absolutely brilliant Chinese restaurant, everything's so tasty & delicious!! Even as take-away, but is better to eat in, tbh
The staff are so friendly & helpful. Really attentive. The menu has a good authentic choices, & I'm sure they could create you something special & off-piste, if asked nicely & requested....

We had a delivery to Haven site. Offered driver a £5er to deliver to the caravan door, but he wasn’t having any of it. Well worth the walk to the main entrance and back. Food was amazing, we frequent this park and happy to have found this place.

As a small family with a young daughter we were looking for a meal for our final nights stay in Weymouth. We had heard good things about Ming and decided to go there. What a mistake..
Firstly, our waiter, shocking with the most vacant look on his face (blonde hair, extremely gormless look). I ordered a beer to go with my meal, usually I prefer to drink out of a bottle, or pour myself when needed, as I had intended to drink water leading up to the meal. As the waiter began to poor I asked him to stop - he looked at me went sorry and continued to pour, three times i yelled stop, he didn't and all he did was offer a small apology after pouring - thanks for ruining my beer pal!
Secondly, we ordered the set menu - where we usually appreciate portion sizes are smaller - for two people they provided us with 1 rib each :/ prawn toast was fine if not greasy. Now this is where it became terrible. We know it was busy, however it had begun to drop off, and fourty minutes into our meal we had just received our duck and another party walked in...
We had walked in at seven thirty, and at 8.20 our second course arrived, we asked very nicely as our little girl was getting restless for our mains to be brought alongside our duck as we needed to now hurry and an hour in the restaurant should have been ample time. We was told no problem.
At 9pm - our mains still hadnt arrived and tables which had arrived after ours, most importantly the large party, were being waited on hand on foot, being tended to with their every needs. We spoke to the manageress at this point, who promised us our meal was coming out.
At 9.15 it still hadnt arrived (1hr 45 minutes after arriving) we couldn't stay any longer our little girl was exhausted and cranky. We told the manager we simply wanted to leave and pay for what we had eaten.
Baring in mind we had had part portions of three small starters and a 1/4 duck with only 4 pancakes, not only was we charged 23 pound, but also for the drinks (about 6 pound) and our apology - three measly fortune cookies?
This is the first restaurant I have ever walked out of mid meal, and I have eaten at some pretty shocking places.
Avoid like the plague - disgusted with the service and disgusted with the treatment of our family.
