Jurassic Rock's Cafe

I have been here several times but today I had a tasty sausage egg and bacon roll (with brown sauce!) Cooked just the way I asked and washed down with a good old cup of tea. I love this little cafe where my dog is also welcomed (they cut his sausage up into bite size pieces) Perfect for a treat after walking on the beach..its a little secret...

The hot rock night is the best thing I've done in Weymouth recently. The courses are amazingly presented, promptly too. The starter was a generous portion of pate, not the spoonful you'd usually get at a restaurant. The fillet steak was so juicy, and cooking it yourself is something really fun and different too. The cheeseboard usually comes with sides, but upon request, I was served only cheese and crackers. All the cheeses were tasty, and all had character. The restaurant is a seaside cafe in the day, so do expect the stereotypical plastic tablecloth and sauce caddy, but it still is amazing. Getting to the restaurant is a bit of a pain, it's a giant sliding door down some stairs. I just knocked on the window because it looked closed, but all was good.
