Absolutly fantastic little place. Pot of pure leaf tea to warm up after windy day out in Whitby. Only down side is one vegan option on menu. They have gluten free and plenty of vegetarian options on menu, my partner enjoyed his ham and cheese toastie....he recommends ginger cake;). Jane is absolutly lovely and super helpful. I would defo visit again:)

Very friendly staff in this "blink and you'll miss it" cafe, tucked away on a corner, less than a minute away from the bridge, with just a front door, leading up the stairs. Nice selection of cakes, traybakes and lots of drinks. They possibly do lunches but we weren't looking so couldn't say for sure.
The prices are amazing value too.

Had afternoon tea with my family for my birthday! First of all the birthday card on the table was nice to see from the staff there! The choice of teas was amazing i went for the lemon and ginger tea! The afternoon tea it's self out of this world and the staff are so friendly and go the extra mile! can't wate to visit again in February!!!

Quaint place with lovely staff. Attentive but without being over fussy. The afternoon tea was delicious with a wide variety of tea available. There was plenty to eat too and all of a high standard. It leant towards sweet items, but boy was it delicious. We couldn't get through it all so I was forced to take home some lemon drizzle cake and strawberry shortcake🤣. So glad I did. Magnificent.

A hidden gem. We'd seen good reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to give The Willow Branch a try on our day trip to Whitby. We were so glad we did! Really friendly customer service and the food was delicious. Next time we visit Whitby, we will definitely eat at this cafe again.

Very friendly, and also dog friendly. Great views. Food and drinks were nice but one of the scones was mouldy! Quickly replaced by apologetic staff, and overall we enjoyed it in the end.

We had a fabulous afternoon tea at The Willow Branch, a little cafe tucked away above the shops. Well worth calling in, the staff are polite, service is quick, tea selection extensive and the afternoon tea which included many freshly made items was lovely. There is a good selection of gifts and local art work too.

Loved it. Great small tea rooms. Quality of home made products excellent.
Only in Whitby for a week but made many visits the the Willow Branch.

Afternoon tea for four was fantastic. Lovely quiet cafe with homemade cakes and scones that were amazing. Lovely loose tea served in a beautiful teapot. Definitely will return.
