Had a lovely stay at the dolphin , room was lovely for us and our two children and the view was amazing . Lovely choice of breakfasts and plenty of it or just a light breakfast if you wish all in the price of your stay...was sad to leave and would definitely stay again...be warned even in November the pub gets very busy but was no noise we could hear from our room and we had to pay for parking which for 3 days was £24 .only negative but not the pubs fault

Breakfast - Great choice, recommend the Full English and the Pancakes. Drinks - Good range of drinks for everyone. A great place to watch the world go by!!

Great little pub. Great views of the harbour and reasonably priced for the drinks. Just called in on the off chance around 12 noon when it opened and it quickly filled up as there was a football match on. Great friendly and welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. Will defo go back again.

Love this pub. Food's lovely, good beer selection. Plenty of room inside and out to sit and watch the world go by. It's also a popular meeting place for all the folk that take the time and effort to dress up in Goth, Pirate, Steam punk costumes. Situated right next to the swing bridge you couldn't wish for a better location x

The Dolphin is a really well-known Pub in Whitby. Right by the harbour, it is a very popular meeting place to catch up with friends and acquaintances at the goth Festival. It has a good range of beers lagers and cider. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is great place to sit outside during the goth festival it is a right party atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We had a long weekend stay. The rooms are looking a little tired although they are clean and a good size with everything you need. The location is superb nowhere better in Whitby. The staff were all very friendly. Parking is nearby on Church Street. It's £9 per 24 hours. We were very lucky getting a space though, everytime I went back to top up my ticket, it was full, and people were waiting for spaces.

Beautiful pub with above and beyond service. Can’t fault a thing about our stay or the hospitality and service received. The Landlords Ali and David are an absolute credit to the place. Superb location and great breakfast too. Would not hesitate to stay again and we are already planning another trip.

Wonderful little hotel above a pub-restaurant right on the harbor. BIG room with bay window. Service was superb - we even chatted with the boss. Our room was quite warm, but it was 80 degrees out and our huge window was catching all the afternoon sun. The windows opened a tiny bit but not much. But the barman supplied us with a small electric fan for the night. Parking is off-site but only maybe a 5-minute walk - would be a pain if you had a lot of luggage. Parking is free between 6 pm and 9 am. We did not partake of the breakfast since we left too early in the morning. Overall, a good find and good value for the price. They even allowed us to pay for the room in cash. Would definitely stay here again!

Big pub with lots of space, sport and good Real Ale. We came in looking for the Rugby and the bar staff put it on for us in one of the rooms which was very nice, all of the staff were very friendly. There were two Real Ales on and both were very nice

Nice bar with very friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. Great atmosphere both inside and outside, was standing room only when we went but didn't bother us, highly recommended.

Lovely room, very comfortable and clean. Nice toiletries. The scrambled egg we had for breakfast was delicious.
