Lovely gift shop with garden room and plants. Then you have the cafe which is perfection! Inside and outside seating, really scrummy food, dog friendly (in and out) and helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend. Oh did I mention cakes? Car parking and vegan and gluten free options. Cake! Highly recommend

ly tearoom, beautiful food and plentiful, I opted for a sandwich BLT best iv ever had, fresh cooked bacon, Lovely salad with pasta and crisps.

Penny Clare is to be found along a narrow winding lane, but once there they have good parking. They have the most amazing showroom of objects for sale. And then the restaurant. Their homemade burger was lovely, the bacon was burnt and hard, but the overall presentation of the chips, burger in bun and salad impressed me. It was an expensive lunch, but if you can afford it, then stop-off for lunch and a mooch round the shop.

Been today. Excellent breakfast, it was very fresh and very hot, which you don’t usually find at most places. Staff were great, owner very nice. Took some cake away, too full to eat it.

A friendly welcome began what turned out to be a thoroughly delightful reunion lunch. We arranged to meet there as it was dog-friendly and two of our group rated the food as - high. PennyClares did not disappoint. The food and staff were excellent and we all sent clean plates back. The cafe is part of a high class furniture, crafts and gifts business and is well worth a visit
