This was the best crab I've ever had! Huge portion, big chunks of crab, full of flavour. Wine was great too. Husband also really enjoyed halibut in gruyère. Would benefit from an extra member of staff but those who served us were great!

Lovely place to eat! Food, atmosphere and the staff where very nice. More on the higher price but worth it as your not waiting to be seated for lunch and the restaurant is not over crowded with people. Perfect for us with a young baby.

The dressed crab was excellent, the battered fish & chips was missing from the menu, and the Supreme Chicken was a bit tart (always have seafood at a seafood restaurant!).

Really wonderful restaurant in Whitby. It is very popular so make sure to book ahead if you want a dinner reservation. The food is delicious, the service is great too - the staff are really helpful. We had cocktails with dinner which I can very much recommend too!

Lovely quiet atmosphere but also great for slightly older kids (did an amazing mocktail on request). Seafood was phenomenal - can recommend the crab linguine but classics like fish and chips were great too.

Just turned up on spec and lucky to get a table but so glad we did. Shared a dozen oysters to start and they were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Mains of crab linguine and fish pie were both brilliant, along with an ice cold bottle of Sancerre.
Service was attentive, but not intrusive, which is perfect for me! Even though they were fully booked later, we were told we had the table for 2 hours which sets you at ease.
All in all a excellent experience. Food, service, wine all absolutely perfect. Would recommend

Service could not have been more friendly, inviting and engaging. Food was magnificent. I don’t write reviews often, so this is a testament to how great this establishment is. Lots of great places to eat in Whitby, but this one will be memorable for us. Highly recommend!
